**An update from your Bark Family as we move forward with the area-wide social distancing for the prevention of the continued spread of COVID-19**

First and foremost, we have always maintained strict cleaning and sanitizing steps to prevent Bordetella, Canine Influenza and other pet-related illnesses here at Bark. We use veterinary hospital grade disinfectants, hydrogen peroxide and bleach. As common practice in the animal care business, our team is always diligent in hand washing throughout the day.

We have implemented additional steps now to help protect our team, clients and the community at large from the spread of COVID-19. We are disinfecting the lobby areas multiple times a day to include door handles, reception desk surfaces, credit card terminals, phones, entry ways, bathrooms, etc. We are also asking that all drop off and pick up take place in the entry-way of our building. We will come get your fur-baby from you at the front door, and the sign-in sheet will remain there. We are also asking that you take your leashes home with you. We will meet you at the front with a clean leash for transfer into the facility. If you are not feeling well and think you may be ill, we ask that you do not come into our facility but rather have a friend or family member transport your baby to daycare. If you need additional help, please call our front desk when you arrive in our parking lot at 757-904-1450. We are happy to help you in any way we can!

All Bark services will remain open as long as we can reasonably do our part to help reduce the spread of the virus to our most vulnerable community members. We are encouraging reservations and increased communication from our guests as we move into the next few weeks.  Our team will be scheduled based on reservations and bookings.  Please let us know your plans each week.  If changes are made to our hours of operation, we will continue to update you on Facebook. In the meantime, please bring your babies in! We are a new, small business that is locally owned and operated, and we depend on your patronage to continue to offer our top quality care. Thank you for your support!
